This section of the RO-LCG 2016 Conference will focus on the latest developments regarding the organization of the computing support for research infrastructures which are part of the ESFRI Roadmap and of other relevant large-scale scientific collaborations, such as the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid. Special attention will be given to the compute and data requirements of the ELI and DANUBIUS-RI research infrastructures. The services provided by EGI to meet the demands of various user communities will be presented.

Current topics on the directions and best practices for implementing the Research Infrastructure Roadmap will be reviewed. Solutions for data archiving, high-throughput, high-performance and cloud computing will also be discussed.

Held under the auspices of the National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation (ANCSI) and of the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI), this event will join together policy makers, stakeholders, leaders of EGI virtual research communities, e-IRG delegates, representatives of research infrastructures and of the national research communities.
